Half a year after their previous comeback, Sonamoo is back with a single album titled I Think I Love U. Despite containing a couple of catchy tracks, I Think I Love U ends up being a mediocre album that doesn’t really make full use of Sonamoo’s potential. The lack of individuality in the songs on this album is the main reason why I Think I Love U isn’t Sonamoo’s best album.
Track 1 – 내 맘대로 해 (Do It Like Me)
Opening this album is a half-sophisticated, half-sultry pop number titled Do It Like Me. You’ll be able to enjoy the classiness of the track, the lightheartedness of the synths, and Sonamoo’s punchy vocals, all at once.
Track 2 – I Think I Love U (나 너 좋아해?)
The title track I Think I Love U is a dance pop tune that shows the playful side of Sonamoo with cheerful lyrics and a blithe rhythm. Let the youthful electric guitar riffs, the rhythmic clapping, and the girls’ breezy voices engulf you on a crazy party night.
Track 3 – 오렌지 카푸치노 (Orange Cappuccino)
Orange Cappuccino is an energetic pop ballad number that truly showcases Sonamoo’s vocal ability. However, it lacks a catchy hook, and is a rather mundane song that you’d hear from most girl groups.
Track 4 – Talk About U
Finally, Talk About U is a chic track with R&B influences and swinging instrumentals. Despite being soft on the ears, it doesn’t particularly stand out from the rest of the album, as it lacks statement-making power.
